Dabble in Color is the esteemed provider of adult and children’s art classes, workshops, private parties, and team building sessions on the Treasure Coast. Our classes are available to everyone aged 5 to 105 years. Our mission is to nurture the innate artistic abilities of each participant using professional techniques and materials while encouraging their unique creativity. Our art degreed instructors are committed to allowing everyone to experience the magical world of art in a professional yet entertaining manner.

We prioritize creating a fun and engaging environment that promotes learning. At Dabble in Color, artistic ability is not a prerequisite. Our focus is to help our guests experience the benefits of art in their lives, and our workshops cater to individuals with all levels of experience. Our designs are sophisticated, yet accessible, even for those without prior artistic training. We provide step-by-step guidance on everything from mixing paint colors to painting techniques. Each guest is guaranteed to complete their artwork and leave feeling enriched, relaxed, and invigorated.

We have a collection of hundreds of meticulously crafted, exclusive painting designs, each a unique and original creation. Unlike franchise DIY projects online, we have hundreds of artworks that are uniquely ours. Instead of our instructors downloading instructions, templates and material lists for our paintings from paint party companies, we’ve created hundreds of designs ourselves, using the skills our art degrees trained us for. We don’t just practice the painting and then repeat the process to you. Our step-by-step instructions are created by us. This enables us to explain the reason behind the process to help you gain insight not available from a repeated DIY process. This allows us to help you throughout the process so that you can bring home the best of yourself! Our intentional creative process ensures easy and enjoyable unique designs, coupled with valuable painting techniques to enhance your artistic skills. Laura Lucas, the accomplished owner of Dabble In Color, LLC, embarked on a new chapter in her life after retiring early from her distinguished career at Gannett/USA Today in 2018. Driven by her passion for art and a desire to create a unique creative experience, Laura took a leap of faith and established Dabble In Color.

With a wealth of experience in media and communications, Laura brings a strategic mindset and a knack for connecting with people to her role as the owner of Dabble In Color. Drawing from her professional background, she leverages her expertise in marketing and customer engagement to develop innovative approaches that captivate participants and ensure their satisfaction.

Laura's decision to open Dabble In Color is a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and her belief in the transformative power of art. By providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals of all skill levels, she aims to break down barriers to artistic expression and make art accessible to everyone.
