“Even though I don't consider myself artistic, I've often thought it would be fun to take a painting workshop -- but I never felt that I had the time. When the pandemic hit, suddenly I had more time, but nowhere to go! Then I learned that Dabble in Color had painting workshops you can take on-line! It was great. They mailed me everything I would need, and despite my concerns about my own abilities, Cathy and Laura stepped me and the other participants through everything we needed to do to create our own paintings. I enjoyed it so much, I immediately thought it would be something my mother would like. She has been chafing at the isolation she's having to endure, and I thought the virtual class, along with the opportunity to be creative, would appeal to her. Like me, she had her concerns about her own artistic ability, but once we got her in and rolling, she truly enjoyed it. There has been so much bad news these days, she explained that this class provided her a "joyful escape," and she wants us to take another one together soon. I highly recommend this experience. It's a great way that friends and families can do something fun together, apart.

This was my first virtual class of any kind. Laura and Cathy did a great job of getting us thru our project. I've done several classes with these ladies always a fantastic job, and I learn something with each one I take.

“I was skeptical when seeing the intensity of some of the paintings but really liked the designs. I had never painted before. I also had no clue what to purchase in order to paint. Everything I needed was shipped to my home and packaged very well. There was no need to go out looking for anything. Login for the event was easy with the detailed login instructions they provided. I DID IT!!! It wasn’t hard at all. They walked us through the painting step by step. My painting looks great and I learned some painting techniques. I purchased this to do something creative and had every expectation that i would throw this in the back of the closet but it looks really good. My husband was so impressed, it is now hanging in my house. Awesome experience! It was relaxing and much better than watching a movie again. I plan on getting a small group (socially distanced) together at my home and have us all do it together with wine and snacks. The gals are going to have a blast.
